CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS was brilliant throughout the derby match at Ibrox, standing out in the Celtic backline.

The American defender was solid at the back, frustrating the Rangers forwards and the Ibrox crowd.
In the build-up to Celtic’s equaliser, the defender’s intervention went relatively unnoticed. As Tilman closed down the goal, CCV was racing back and managed to put a sliding challenge in, blocking the ball from making its way through.

It didn’t look like Joe Hart was going to be able to save it, and Rangers could easily have found themselves 3-1 up if it wasn’t for CCV. Moments later, Celtic was down the other end of the park, banging in their equaliser.
He was impressive today, along with Starfelt, for the most part. The pair were rock solid, despite some dodgy passes from the Swedish defender and the clumsy challenge which led to the penalty to put The Rangers in the lead.
The pair were strong in the air, but Carter-Vickers stood out, acting as a brick wall for Celtic.
