Celtic supporters have received a boost on commentary ahead of tonight’s match against Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Champions League.
With former Rangers striker and manager Ally McCoist often featuring as TNT Sports’ main commentator, it appeared likely he would commentate on the game tonight, with the match on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate receiving the main coverage.
However, McCoist is surprisingly not on commentary and is instead replaced by former Celtic captain and manager Neil Lennon.

With the clash being yet another Battle of Britain — the third this season — for those listening to the game at home or in the pub, hearing Lennon is certainly a boost. Although his time at the club as manager didn’t end well, his time as captain and his first spell as manager overshadow the conclusion of his time at Celtic.
The Irishman remains a strong supporter of the Hoops in the media, and while others look to criticise Celtic, he is vocal in his support of Brendan Rodgers and what he has done since his return.
