JAPAN has called up three Celtic stars to their squad as they prepare for the World Cup in November. Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Kyogo will all be looking to impress the boss to secure a place in the twenty-six man squad for Qatar.

Hatate is the player looking to impress Hajime Moriyasu the most, as he looks to break into the national team, making just one appearance for the senior squad. He’s had a great start to the season with Celtic and will be looking to keep it up with an important few months ahead.

Kyogo and Maeda will also look to impress; however, the pair have been regulars in recent squads, so their positions are more confident.
A thirty-man squad has been named for the friendlies against USA and Ecuador, so the manager will be looking for his players to impress, knowing he has to trim the squad for November.
If Hatate can play as he has since the start of the season, he should be on a flight to Qatar this November.
