LEWIS CAPALDI has revealed a time when former Celtic manager Neil Lennon had to have a few words with the singer.
The pair lived near each other and often see each other out and about. Capaldi, who has joked about having a concert at Parkhead after Harry Styles hosted his at Ibrox, has opened up on a time when Neil Lennon left a note on the singer’s car, expressing his annoyance at him.
Speaking on Clyde 1, quoted by Football Scotland, the singer opened up on the situation, saying;
“It’s alright I live with a bunch of old people. I moved into an old folks home.
“No the people I live around aren’t really big fans of my music. I live actually near Mr Neil Lennon and Mr Andy Halliday.
“But Mr Neil Lennon, I parked in his space a couple of times and I got notes on my car door so if you’re listening Neil, I apologise but don’t leave notes on my car. Just ask me to move it and I’ll move it.”
The TRNSMT headliner can use the Northern Irishman’s space as much as he wants now, with Lennon managing in Cyrpus.
The Omonia boss hasn’t had the easiest ride in the Europa League so far this season, with his side on 0 points after two games, following in the steps of the Ibrox club. His latest defeat came in Spain, with Real Sociedad winning 2-1 on Thursday night.
