CELTIC travel to Pittodrie for one of the more challenging away games. Celtic have relied on late goals here in the past to return with the three points. That is why Ange Postecoglou must name the strongest squad he has at his disposal.
With very little breathing space at the top of the table, Celtic can not afford to drop points and risk being overtaken by their rivals.
The goalkeeper and defence pretty much pick themselves.
Midfield is harder to pick. With Rogic receiving the MOTM award on Sunday, it will be hard to justify dropping the playmaker. However, O’Riley was immense when he came onto the pitch and leaving him out would be harsh. Postecoglou now faces this headache, but he will relish it after the squad he had to use for the first half of the season.
The front three is also hard to predict. On Sunday, Maeda started wide with Giakoumakis playing through the middle. However, Postecoglou will bring Jota back into the squad, and the greek striker will likely make way for him, with Maeda playing through the middle.
Ange Postecoglou can not afford to field a weakened squad tonight and should name the following XI.
Hart
Rogic
Abada
