ANGE POSTECOGLOU is not letting Aberdeen’s poor run of form affect his thinking ahead of Wednesday night’s match in the North East.
Postecoglou’s side is looking to pick up all three points and look over their shoulder in case the Ibrox club drop points to the hands of Hibs.
The Dons have a different mentality heading into this game. Having failed to impress consistently under Glass so far, they find themselves sitting in 7th in the league, with just eight wins to their name.
Speaking ahead of the match, to Go Radio Football Show, Postcoglou said;
“If they were on a good run, I wouldn’t be feeling any calmer.
“We go there expecting them to be at their best, they’re tough opponents particularly on their home ground.
“The lack of form, or lack of results, over recent times is more of an issue for them than it is for us.
“We have got to make sure we expect them to be at their best. As I said, they can trouble anyone.”
Celtic have won their last five games in the league, scoring goals for fun while doing so; Aberdeen has just one win. The win came against Dundee. It is worth noting that the Dons drew with the Ibrox club and can count themselves unlucky not to send the opposition home with no points.
