Postecoglou Continues To State Clear Message To Squad

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has continued to state his clear message to the squad that they must take games one at a time, with many having next Thursday’s second leg European tie on their mind.

Before thinking about the trip to Scandanavia to face Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt, the Hoops have an important league fixture against Dundee at Parkhead to contend with, which will hopefully see Ange Postecoglou’s side remain at the top of the Premiership.

As quoted by the Daily Record, the 56-year old has continued to put across this message by insisting that his selection for next weeks game won’t be on his mind after being asked by the media, with Sunday being the most important fixture at this time.

“It depends. The most important thing is we get the team right for Sunday, and then we’ll have a look at Thursday.”

Amongst all the excitement at the recent form from the Bhoys, this is an important message, which we continue to see Ange and his players reiterate pre and post-match.

It is important, from a position of strength domestically, we do not take our eye off the ball in the pursuit of lifting the Scottish Premiership title once again.

Of course, there is likely to be some thoughts ahead of the second leg next week. For now, that will be put to mind, though, especially within the Celtic dressing room, as they target another three points in the league.
