Finland international goalkeeper, Viljami Sinisalo, joined the Hoops in July 2024 from English Premier League side, Aston Villa, on a five-year deal.
After signing for Villa at a young age, the talented shot-stopper went on to enjoy loan spells at Ayr United, Burton Albion, and Exeter City, gaining valuable first-team experience.
At Exeter City, he was named player of the year for the English League One side after making 50 first-team appearances across all competitions during the 2023/24 season.
This experience proved pivotal in helping turn the move to Celtic a reality, and on his arrival in Glasgow, he revealed that Exeter City manager and former Celt, Gary Caldwell, provided words of encouragement on what to expect at Paradise.
