Celtic have tonight confirmed the signing of Oliver Abildgaard after a day of speculation on a season long deal. [Celtic FC]
Oliver becomes the final piece in the summer transfer puzzle as the Celtic squad gets locked in until January. The Hoops have made a barn storming start to the season, five wins out of five in the SPFL and another win in the League Cup.
The strength in depth the club has at the moment is outstanding and Oliver comes in to further strengthen this Celtic side.
By the time it’s all said and done, Celtic will have played over 50 games, and the way Ange wants his teams to play means there has to be top talent on the bench ready to tag in when players run themselves into the ground.
The Danish international becomes the third signing Ange and Celtic have made from Rubin Kazan. Carl Starfelt was signed last summer from the Russian club before Haksabanovic joined up with the club last week.
It’s been a successful window on the face of things. Jota and CCV both being signed to permanent deals was monumental. Both contributing from the off this season. Let’s hope Oliver can do the same when he gets up to speed.
