Oliver Abildgaard has been officially announced as a Celtic player. The Danish international signs in a season long loan from Rubin Kazan and will join up with his teammates at Lennoxtown on Friday.

It’s been a whirlwind day for Oliver who made the trip to Scotland, signed for the club and then sat down for a quick interview for Celtic TV.
The midfielder explains what type of player he’ll be and his excitement at playing in front of the Celtic fans.
Celtic have completed nine signings in this transfer window. It’s incredible, the turnover in players over the past 12 months and we’re already hitting our stride this season.
The Scottish champions go into their next two games knowing they’ll need big performances in both. Oliver will likely watch from the sidelines until he’s up to speed in the training ground.
The new bhoys hasn’t played in around three months, so he’ll need to make sure he’s ready to go in Ange’s system, for that, he needs to be fit!
