Celtic have been clearing the deck for the next stage of Ange Postecoglou’s Parkhead tenure. We now count TWELVE players who have move out of the club this summer with only three loans among them.
It was always going to be the case there would be more outgoings than incomings after the upheaval the summer Ange came into the club.
Since the summer, we’ve saw high profile exits like Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton. The club have also endeavoured to get rid of fringe players and youth bhoys who aren’t considered first team ready.
With the news Boli Bolingoli has left the club for Belgian side Mechelen, the list is extensive and we’d be surprised if the Hoops are done.

In contrast, we’ve saw the Hoops secure four signings this summer so far. Two bhoys who were here last year; CCV and Jota – also Benjamin Siegrist and Alexandro Bernabei.
The window doesn’t close until the end of August. It will be interesting to see how trim the squad is by that time.
Celtic are going about their business well but there’s still room for improvement.
