Celtic can go 16 points clear at the top of the SPFL table this afternoon with a win against St Mirren, but if the Livingston game has taught us anything, we can take nothing for granted.
The bhoys played out a 2-2 draw midweek but luckily our nearest rivals slipped up at home helping Celtic to widen the gap at the top of the SPFL table.
Going into the game today, here is Celtic’s provisional squad. As always, we stress things can change, over the season there’s been a few surprises.
It looks like Olivier Ntcham is still missing. Celtic have missed the Frenchman’s presence in the middle of the park at times.
Frimpong came on against Livingstone and immediately turned the game in our favour, getting down the right hand side and causing all sorts of problems. Will Neil Lennon be tempted to play the youngster ahead of Forrest? History says, no, but there’s a first for everything.
Elhamed has been on the bench the last few games, today would be an ideal time to start the defender if Neil Lennon plays a 3-5-2. The Israeli hasn’t played since last year.
Here’s the full provisional squad.
