Celtic are set to debut their third kit for the first team this season in a competitive game against Aston Villa in the Champions League at Villa Park tonight.
With third kits often rarely worn, it is great to see the Hoops making the most of an opportunity to wear the khaki kit, especially with many supporters having paid for the top.

Celtic have responded by wearing it for the first time in a game, where they didn’t have to, as both the home and away kits were perfectly suitable against Villa’s kit.

Brendan Rodgers will be hopeful that the khaki kit proves difficult for Villa’s players to spot, given its unusual design. It may even affect how Unai Emery’s side performs.
All jokes aside, Celtic will be desperate to secure a positive result in this Battle of Britain. A draw or win could see the Hoops secure a more favourable draw in the next round of the knockout playoffs.
There’s still a place in the league table between 5th and below to play for, with Celtic currently sitting 18th before tonight’s game. They’ll be hopeful of climbing the table by the time the final whistle blows at Villa Park.
