Celtic Confirm Major Matchday Shift

It was something Celtic fans had been looking for and something that was being trialled before the pandemic — the club are going cashless on matchday!

What does that mean?

If you would like to purchase anything from the kiosks you will have to do so with your card or phone. A lot of shops have gone cashless over the last 18 months — the driving force being the risk cash changing hands poses to staff members and punters.

So if you’re wanting a watered down Coke Zero, a solid freezing pie or a hot dog in a three day old hot dog bun — you better bring your card!

Celtic finally welcome a full capacity in the ground on Thursday — the first time this has happened since March 2020. There will be a massive buzz about the place as people take their seat in Paradise after a long absence.

The bhoys take on Jablonec in the second leg of their Europa League qualifier. Ange Postecoglou’s men are 4-2 up from the game in the Czech Republic.
