Ibrox Club Attempt to Copy Celtic’s Transfer Homework

Reports claimed over the weekend Celtic became the front runners to sign Cho Gue-sung from Jeonbuk Hyundai.

The South Korean international is destined to leave his current club this January, but the destination of the striker isn’t set in stone.

On Monday night, it’s being reported that Rangers are looking to hijack a deal for the striker and take Cho from under the noses of their rivals.

Football Scotland confirm the second placed side and last season’s runners up are looking seriously at the player.

It does smack of attempting to copy Celtic’s homework. They’ve watched the hoops sign player after player who have made an impact and without a proper plan in place, why not try to copy off a well run club.

Celtic’s interest in Cho appears to be serious. The reports from South Korea claim the bhoys are the highest bidders at this point.

It Celtic do manage to sign Cho, it will likely be the end for Giakoumakis who is in-demand from several clubs.
