ANGE POSTECOGLOU was in no mood for evocative terms or giving the BBC a headline with their line of questioning after Celtic’s Champions League defeat.
The manager had to face the press after the disappointing result in Denmark where a very patched up side fell very short in extra time against Midtjylland.
Most Celtic fans are not blaming the new Celtic boss for this exit, and are clever enough to know the rot was set in a long time ago which set up this defeat.
The manager faced the music tonight on behalf of the club, but he was defiant in the terminology used by a BBC reporter to try and get a scoop.
The manager was asked to comment on the ‘catastrophic’ defeat and he wouldn’t play ball. As much as Ange knows this is a hammer blow, he is also wise enough to understand that Celtic are going through a process and he’s the man leading the charge.
Nothing is over and things need to get moving. He was then asked who’s to blame and he took the responsibility – not pointing the finger at anybody.
