Victor Wanyama has paid tribute to Dunfermline goalkeeper and Celtic loanee, Tobi Oluwayemi, after the Pars’ 1-0 win against Queen’s Park at Hampden on Saturday.
The game was a huge result for Dunfermline as they continue to battle for survival in the Scottish Championship, and Oluwayemi’s performance played a vital role in the win.

The young keeper, who is on loan from Celtic, kept a clean sheet in a game that saw Chris Kane score the only goal of the match. Oluwayemi was solid throughout, making crucial saves to ensure his side maintained their lead. It was a standout performance from the 21-year-old, and his composure between the sticks helped Dunfermline secure all three points.
After the final whistle, Wanyama was quick to praise his teammate, taking to social media. The Kenyan, who joined the Pars to help them avoid relegation, emphasised the importance of Oluwayemi’s role in the win. Wanyama has clearly been impressed with the young goalkeeper since his arrival at East End Park.
