A number of Celtic youngsters will get the chance to play against some of the best talent in the world for their age group this summer.
Scotland’s under 17s, led by ex-Celt Brian McLaughlin, will play at the under 17 European Championships in Hungary this May, the draw for the group stage of which has recently been made.
It is fair to say the young Celts have been drawn into a group of death with their national side as they are due to face the under 17s of Portugal, France and Germany in Group C.
In the most recent Scotland under 17s squad, three Celtic players were initially named. Josh Dede, who debuted in the first team back in pre-season, was included along with his club teammates Mitchel Frame and Kyle Ure. Daniel Cummings also joined the camp later on.
