Celtic striker Adam Idah has posted on Instagram following his side’s historic 5-1 win over Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League last night.

The Irishman didn’t start the game but came off the bench in the second half to make his debut in European football’s elite club competition.
Idah made quite the impact, scoring the Hoops’ fifth of the night. Fellow substitute James Forrest played a clever ball in behind the Bratislava defence for the striker to latch on to and finish from.
It was Idah’s first goal as a permanent Celtic player, and his maiden strike in the Champions League. He wheeled away in celebration after scoring, sliding on his knees in the corner as the home supporters roared.
This morning, the 23-year-old reflected on a historic European night at Paradise on Instagram.
Idah captioned a few photos from yesterday evening’s victory by saying he dreamed of nights like it:

With a hefty price tag to his name, there was some mounting pressure on the Cork native to grab his first goal of the season.
Idah couldn’t have chosen a better game to bag it in than last night’s. His smart finish late on made history in a memorable evening at the home of the Scottish Premiership champions.
