World Class Strike, Turnbull Pass and Ajeti Joy – Celtic Statement Made

Celtic made light work of what was a tricky fixture going into Sunday. The bhoys rocked up to Celtic Park with a point to prove and they certainly did just that.

Hibernian never looked too much of a threat for the home side and the game was taken by the scruff of the neck by Callum McGregor with a world class strike to put it beyond the keeper and set Celtic on their way.

It was Albian Ajeti and his knack of being in the right place at the right time which got Celtic their all important second of the day. The striker anticipated the rebound from Moi’s shot from inside the box and was there to tap it in. The Swiss star immediately pulled up after the goal and had to be substituted.

The final goal of the day was a fine finish from Moi but it was put on a plate by new bhoy David Turnbull who played a perfectly weighted pass into the Norwegian’s path.

Great day for Celtic in the end.
