Some Celtic Fans Had Enough of Whistler After Pittodrie Display

Remember the date, remember the opposition and remember the scoreline.

December 26th 2018 was the date Celtic overcame Willie Collum’s premier performance to continue their relentless march towards the SPFL title.

An absolutely incredible, inept and outrageous performance from Willie Collum was not enough on the day to spoil Celtic’s festive party at Pittodrie.

Failing to send an Aberdeen player off, giving Aberdeen a scandalous penalty for a blatant dive were just some of the decision on the day that shows where Willie Collum is as a referee.

A man unable to send Nial McGinn off while at the same time in the dying embers of a game, yellow cards a Celtic player for ‘time wasting’ when we’ve seen many more teams dither for longer without repercussion.

It was remarkable. With five minutes to go, Collum looked to have rescued a point for the Dons who were screaming for everything all day in the hope of matching up to the Champions.

They got their wish but not the end result. A converted penalty but Celtic took it up a gear, scoring two goals in four minutes to land all three points against the Reds.

A late Ferguson goal gave them slight hope, but in the end, Celtic did enough!
