In stark contrast to Celtic’s fortunes today, once upon a time Celtic fans had to sit and watch the old Rangers club do nine in a row. Celtic had to have their own “stop the ten” plan over twenty years ago and from 3 pm today you can watch that famous day again from the Hoops YouTube channel.

After the game and after ending a decade of dominance by Rangers the Celtic manager Wim Jansen said:
“This is one of the very special moments in my career. It was a very hard game and it has been a very hard season. This has got to be one of the highlights of my career as a coach and something I will always remember.”
Not one Celtic fan that day would have believed what joy the next twenty-plus years would bring and long may it continue.
