Sunderland star Chris Maguire took part in an official Q&A with the Sunderland account on Friday as players look to beat the boredom by participating with the fans online.
Maguire, 31, came through the ranks at Aberdeen before he headed down south in 2011. He has become a bit of a journeyman in the lower leagues and is currently plying his trade at the stadium of light.
Chris was asked by a fan if he’d rather play for Rangers* or Sunderland’s biggest rivals Newcastle.

This seemed to get a major reaction online from the usual suspects. So much so, the Sunderland account acknowledged Chris would be laughing at ‘whoppers’ for the rest of the night.
