Celtic now know their fate in the Champions League knockout stage, with Bayern Munich standing between them and a place in the last 16.

Brendan Rodgers’ side were drawn against the German giants this morning at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, after finishing 21st in the league phase.
The Hoops will host Bayern at Celtic Park in the first leg on Tuesday, February 11, or Wednesday, February 12, before travelling to Munich for the return match on Tuesday, February 18, or Wednesday, February 19.
UEFA will finalise and confirm the exact dates and kick-off times this evening (Friday) as they complete the full play-off fixture list.
It’s yet to be confirmed if Celtic will be permitted away fans for the second leg. The club have received a disciplinary notice from UEFA after a flare was thrown onto the pitch from the away section on Wednesday.
Celtic were served a 1 away match fan ban earlier in the season, which was suspended for two years.
The two clubs last met in the 2017 Champions League group stage, where Bayern won both encounters—3-0 at the Allianz Arena and 2-1 at Celtic Park. Despite the defeats, Celtic gave a strong account of themselves in Glasgow, with Callum McGregor scoring in a narrow loss.
Now, Rodgers’ men will be aiming to go one step further and pull off a famous result against the Bundesliga heavyweights.
With the exact schedule to be confirmed tonight, Celtic fans can start preparing for another massive European night under the lights at Paradise.
