When The Europa League Fixture Details Will Be Confirmed

Celtic fans won’t have to wait long to find out the full schedule for the club’s 2025/26 Europa League campaign, with UEFA confirming that fixtures will be released by Sunday at the latest.

Following Friday’s league phase draw, Brendan Rodgers’ side now know their eight opponents in this season’s revamped European format. Celtic, who were drawn from Pot 2, will face a challenging but enticing line-up of matches:

  • Roma (Home)

  • Feyenoord (Away)

  • Braga (Home)

  • Red Star Belgrade (Away)

  • Sturm Graz (Home)

  • Midtjylland (Away)

  • Utrecht (Home)

  • Bologna (Away)

With each club playing eight different opponents (four home and four away), fans have already begun eyeing up travel plans and key matchups. The league phase kicks off next month, with Matchday 1 set for 24 & 25 September, and continues through to 29 January 2026.

While the draw has been completed, UEFA has yet to confirm the exact order and dates of the matches — though this is expected to be finalised and made public no later than Sunday, 31 August.

The release of the schedule will also determine which domestic fixtures may need to be rescheduled due to the Thursday-Sunday turnaround created by European commitments.

Celtic’s campaign begins in just under a month, and with some blockbuster ties on the horizon, the final fixture list will be eagerly awaited.
