CELTIC restored their nine-point lead with a 4-1 against St Johnstone in Perth.

Ange Postecoglou’s side dominated the match, controlling it from start to finish without leaving second gear.
A quick start saw Celtic score their 16th goal of the season inside the opening 15 minutes, with help from Andy Considine, with the opener going down as an own goal.
Chris Sutton reacted to the win, which he thought might have been trickier than it actually was. Crediting the performance, he admitted the team’s consistency isn’t easy to maintain week on week, but the former Celtic man warned there was still work to do.
It’s the second match in a row that Celtic haven’t really performed in the second half. Up until David Turnbull’s strike at the end, Celtic hadn’t really threatened the St Johnstone goal, something Ange Postecoglou will be frustrated at.
Taking to Twitter, Chris Sutton tweeted:
I thought today might be tricky for Celtic… what do I know!!! What has been incredible is the high standards and level of performance this current Celtic team keep churning out week after week. It’s really not an easy thing to do. Total respect… but still work to do👏👏🍀

Celtic’s next match will be against St Mirren at home in the Scottish Cup, there will likely be some rotation, but the manager will be looking to nip the issues the Hoops are having in the second half in the bud.
