‘What do I know’ – Ange takes Dig at VAR Decision

ANGE POSTECOGLOU believes his side should’ve been awarded a penalty at the end of the first half after the ball struck a Hearts player’s arm in the first half.

James Forrest was looking to cross the ball into the back post area, but Smith’s out-stretched arm in the box blocked the ball. The look on the defender’s face said it all, he knew he was guilty and was expecting VAR to intervene and award the Hoops the chance to get themselves back in front just before the break.

After an extremely short review, Steven McLean decided there was nothing more to it and told Nick Walsh he could continue. It was a shocking decision.

Ange Postecoglou said he wouldn’t want to be talking about the performance of the officials after the match, but he couldn’t resist giving his thoughts on Celtic’s first-half penalty claim.

Live on Sky Sports, the Celtic manager said;

“I thought we had a clear-cut handball, but what do I know, mate.”

The manager isn’t wrong!
