CELTIC got three points on the board at Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon.
It was a miserable day for weather but a great day for Celtic fans who have walked away from today’s game feeling absolutely delighted.
Celtic didn’t only win convincingly, but they won with real style and the man of the moment was indeed Kyogo Furuhashi.
The Japanese star got his second start for Celtic and by the end of the game, he’s made it four goals in two starts – not bad!
We talk about players coming from different climates and taking time to bed in, that can be true for a lot of players. You could have forgiven Kyogo for having a slow start to his Celtic career but the frontman has come out firing!
Kyogo’s intelligence and ability to make runs in behind is a breath of fresh air for Celtic supporters.
The player was a constant nuisance and in all honesty, should have had around five goals for his troubles. He missed two great opportunities during the game too.
We never want to get carried away too quickly about anybody because there will be ebbs and flows to this season. However, there are promising signs we are getting stronger.
Finishing the game 6-0. Incredible.
