Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has guided his team to yet another Scottish Premiership success. The season has been as arduous as they come, but the gaffer, after returning to Glasgow in the summer, has proved his worth once more.
When the going got tough throughout the campaign, Rodgers stood firm and towards the end of the season, the demeanour in which he carried himself in the media was top-class.

Everything he has said – whether it be ‘see you back here in May’ or ‘this is when Celtic comes alive’ has proved true.
Some were sceptical about him returning and others were unforgiving because of the way he left the Hoops five years ago. Skipper Callum McGregor, though, has revealed what initially struck him about the Irishman when he first talked to him before his homecoming.
“We spoke at length when he was coming back”, said the captain (The Celtic Way).
“You could tell instantly that this club meant everything to him.
“Once he was appointed, it’s been a massive goal of mine to make sure we win the league for him. I’ve known him from his time here previously and we had a brilliant time together.
“When you come back, everybody expects to hit the ground running. It never quite went like that. That’s when you see big characters come to the fore.
“He’s been unbelievable in terms of the direction he’s moved this group in. To come through the difficult spell we had, and to then be playing the football we did to win the league in big style at Kilmarnock, I know that gives him amazing comfort in terms of what we’re trying to build here.”
It feels as though everything has fallen into place for Celtic at a pivotal point in the season.
Although there is still a Scottish Cup final on the horizon, the Hoops achieved their primary goal of winning the league and now, can deservedly rejoice and enjoy trophy day tomorrow.
