Celtic marched to a third consecutive league title last night at Rugby Park, sweeping Kilmarnock aside in a dominant 5-0 win.
Adam Idah started the party early doors before Daizen Maeda doubled the Hoops’ lead. James Forrest got the third before the break.

In the second half, it would have been easy for the Bhoys to take their foot off the gas but they ploughed on as Matt O’Riley bagged a brace.
At full-time, the celebrations were widespread. The raucous travelling support hit out with a memorable pyrotechnics display as the players and management team rejoiced.
Indeed, moments after the league was won, manager Brendan Rodgers spoke to his captain Callum McGregor.
Live on Sky Sports post-match, the skipper revealed what he was told: “It’s ten months, eleven months of hard work”, said McGregor.
“This group of players have shown so much resilience (in a) difficult season.
“To be honest, the gaffer (Brendan Rodgers) just said to me there ‘It looks like our season is just starting the way we’re playing now!'”
It is difficult to argue with Rodgers’ assessment. In the beginning of the campaign and for much of it, there wasn’t any consistency in Celtic’s performances but over the past few weeks, the Hoops have come alive.
Their status as champions is fully deserved and the players have merited it for their graft over the past 10 months.
With a cup final still to go, the champions hitting their stride only bodes well.
