RYAN CHRISTIE scored the goal in Serbia on Thursday night which helped Scotland get over the line and eventually qualify for the Euros via a penalty shootout.

It was a night of high emotions for the Scotland squad and the whole country as 22 years of failure came to an end.

After the game, Ryan couldn’t hold back the tears in his interview as he spoke about the achievement and how the country needed this after the year we’ve all had.

Former Oasis star Liam Gallagher must have seen the goal and interview, along with Christie singing Wonderwall on social media, never a man of many words, he simply posted this onto to social media.

Christie and his Scotland team-mates now find themselves getting ready for the tournament next summer which will put them against England in June.

The last time the two sides met it was 2-2 after Leigh Griffiths scored to incredible free kicks.
