ANGE POSTECOGLOU confirmed Celtic are closing in on at least one more January signing after snapping up two players before the window even opened.
The Hoops signed Yuki Kobayashi and Alistair Johnston ahead of the January transfer window to kick off their business.
Ange isn’t done yet and has the club working behind the scenes to further improve his squad:
We’re getting pretty close now, I know Michael [Nicholson, chief executive] and Chris [McKay, chief financial officer] want to spend some time with their families at Christmas. We’re working on things.” Ange told Football Scotland.
“There are still a couple that we are kind of investigating at the moment. We will see how things transpire over the next week or so.
“We’re not even into January yet so there is still a bit of time.”

There likely will be more movement out the door than coming in when January hits. Celtic know they’ll be fielding offers for some of their top stars. Josip Juranovic is tipped to leave for a large fee, that could give way to more deals being done.
If Celtic make a huge profit on the Croatian, it will make them even more flexible in the transfer market.
Rumours suggest Celtic are after another striker for the second half of the season and to get them up to speed for next summer.
The team are going strong in the league at the moment, nine points clear of second place. Anyone who does come in, including the two bhoys we mentioned at the top of the article will have to work hard to earn a place in the squad.
