‘We Wouldn’t Be Beaten’ – Defiant Brown on Squad Mentality

SCOTT BROWN told the media this afternoon that even with 11 minutes to go when Mikael Lustig put it into his own goal that the team were still confident of getting a goal.

The Captain believes that the teams resolve and ability to play when there back is against the wall is one of the many reasons they sit with a 66 undefeated streak.

“When we went 1-0 down, we all believed we wouldn’t be beaten. Their goalkeeper was excellent. We fight until the last minute, never give up. It’s what this team is all about.” Brown proudly stated.

Celtic will go head to head with Motherwell again on Saturday when they visit Celtic Park. After the last two encounters, you almost fear it will be a damp squib. However, Celtic and Motherwell should be right up for it again and we’re hoping the bhoys can make it three points this time around.
