‘We will deal with it’ – Ange Reacts to Potential Celtic Transfer Exits

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has revealed there has been ZERO contact from other clubs about any of his players as we approach the opening of the January transfer window.

In January, many Celtic fans expect the club will cash in on their Croatian World Cup star Josip Juranovic. Some have speculated Alistair Johnston was signed because the club is aware of the interest in their right-back.

However, Ange has refuted any claim there are deals being done in the background, but the Celtic manager did admit they are ready to pivot and do business if they need to.

He told Sky Sports: “No contact. If it does happen then we will deal with it.

“From our perspective having already brought three players in we are comfortable with the situation we are in. If the do come for the players we will access each situation individually and see what the benefits are for us, the player and the club but the key thing for me is we don’t need to be too stressed about what could potentially be incoming as we have kind of already done our business.”

Josip Juranovic and Gorgios Giakoumakis are the two players who have been heavily linked with a move away in January. We will see how things pan out. Given Celtic have signed THREE players before the window has even opened, it would be naive to think they’re not looking to trim the squad.

Before the transfer window gets into full swing, the bhoys have the small matter of a trip to Ibrox. Ange should have near enough a full squad to choose from.
