We need to talk about Scott Brown

A man who has won so much in the Hoops and been wrote off so many times by the media continues to amaze me and defy the ageing process.

Celtic lost the Glasgow Derby but there was one man who certainly didn’t deserve to be on the losing side of things on the day and that was our captain.

He was involved all over the pitch and trying to drive the players on throughout the game like he’s done time and time again. The midfielder showed the heart, passion and desire to keep going while others whimpered into the background.

On another day, we get a draw with a bit more luck but Celtic can have no complaints about the overall result.

Brown will now have the task of helping left the players during the winter break. Something he did last season when we lost at Ibrox under Brendan Rodgers. The Celtic captain who also bridged the gap between Neil Lennon and the rest of the squad when he took over.

Brown will be hurting like the rest of us and will no doubt help us push on in the New Year.
