The Celtic captain has his fair share of haters (As the kids would say) and Callum McGregor might have an insight into why opposition players tend not to like him.

Over and above the obvious that Broony bosses the midfield and takes no prisoners – McGregor says he’s always amused at what Scott does to get in his opponents head.

“I just laugh at Broony every week when he tries to wind everybody up.” Callum told the Celtic View.

“You catch wee bits of what he shouts as he tries to put people under pressure.

“Later on when you remember it, you start laughing. Broony’s always good value.”

Scott Brown recently won a treble of trophies at the Celtic player of the year awards as the captain continues to build his legacy at Celtic.

I wonder if Scott will be giving any verbals out to the Ireland squad during his testimonial next month.
