Former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou claimed his maiden competitive victory as Spurs boss on Saturday evening. The North London club put Manchester United to the sword in an impressive 2-0 victory.
Postecoglou’s intensive style of play was coherent in the win, and if he hadn’t already, the Australian gaffer now has more than most Tottenham supporters on his side. This was evident post-match versus United when the fans were chanting his name.
To the Celtic faithful, the chant will be eerily familiar. Indeed it is practically a carbon copy of the ‘Ange Postecoglou Ole’ song that was regularly sung inside Parkhead when the 57-year-old was in charge. You can watch Spurs’ reenactment of it below:

It seems that fans of the Lilywhites don’t have much creativity regarding chants and the like. Taking lessons from their Scottish cousins.
They have clearly taken this one from the Scottish champions, but not to worry, because the original ‘Papa Francesco Ale’ version of the song will still ring around Paradise.
