James Forrest’s Scotland recall was fully deserved but just a few months ago, it seemed almost unimaginable.
The veteran winger, though, was brought back into the Celtic fold towards the end of the season by Brendan Rodgers in what was nothing short of a managerial masterstroke.

Forrest turned up when it mattered for the Hoops at the business end of the campaign, scoring in the Scottish Cup semi-final versus Aberdeen before bagging a key brace at Dens Park a week later.
The 32-year-old is now resultantly preparing for a trip to Germany for the Euros after admitting he had to cancel his summer holiday plans due to how unexpected his call-up was.
Ahead of the tournament, Forrest and his international teammates have been carrying out some media work, from which a hilarious clip has emerged.
Indeed, the Scotland players were told some nicknames and they had to guess who’s in the team they were.
Forrest was dubbed ‘The Prestwick Pele’:

Need to stop calling him that then, back to "The Ayrshire Beyoncé" it is James. pic.twitter.com/rADDNACRAI

In Germany over the next few weeks, Steve Clarke will be hoping the wide-man can live up to his billing from the video and come up with the goods for his country.
