Celtic retook the lead through Reo Hatate this afternoon which will certainly be a goal of the month contender.
The Japanese midfielder took the game by the scruff of the neck as Motherwell attempted to dig in and frustrate the Scottish champions.
A corner played straight out to Reo outside the area, there wasn’t many Motherwell players too keen on closing him down when he took a touch and unleashed a strike that blasted into the back of the net!
Reo had been one of Celtic’s best performers on the day, he had struck the post in the first half and deserved the goal in the second.
Motherwell’s constant time wasting coming undone.
When this ball was hit, it stayed hit!
Celtic shot themselves in the foot first half. After taking the lead through Kyogo, a bizarre own goal brought the Steelmen level when a miscommunication between Juranovic and Hart ended up in the back of the net.
The game has been a very competitive encounter to say the least. Celtic could have been 3 or 4 up by the 70th minute mark on another day.
