Luke McCowan’s transfer to Celtic came at an exciting time, both for the player and the club.

Completing the move on deadline day, McCowan joined Celtic after the Scottish champions finalised a £1 million deal plus add-ons with Dundee.
McCowan, who was in the last year of his contract at Dundee, had been a target for Celtic throughout the summer. His impressive start to the season, with two goals and an assist in the league and a goal plus five assists in the League Cup, highlighted his form and potential impact.
This performance drew attention not just from Celtic but also from other clubs, with Hibs having multiple bids rejected, including a last-day offer of £800,000.
Late on Friday night, Celtic’s newest signing was clearly over the moon with his move.
Sky Sports had filmed him walking out of the tunnel, and he couldn’t wipe that smile off his face.
