CELTIC today announced the loan signing of Oliver Burke – subject to medical as Celtic ramp up efforts to improve the side for the second half of the season.
Burke will come in and give Brendan Rodgers a new option in midfield when things aren’ working.
The player has been used sparingly at West Brom this season and the hope Brendan Rodgers can get the best out of a young Scottish international is huge.
The potential is there for Burke to come in and make a real difference.
The Kirkcaldy born star has already got previous for scoring against Celtic’s Glasgow rivals – Burke scoring a neat finish in the Friendly tie against The Rangers back in his Leipzig days.

Celtic are now looking to kick on and bring in more fresh faces as they prepare for the second half of the season in Dubai.
The Bhoys don’t kick-off the second half of their campaign until January 19th, giving them some breathing space to get players in.
