Watch: Neil Lennon and Peter Lawwell Visit Ibrox to Pay Respects

Neil Lennon and Peter Lawwell took a trip to Ibrox this afternoon to pay their respects and lay a wreath on behalf of Celtic after the passing of Fernando Ricksen.

The 43-year-Old lost his battle with Motor Neurone Disease this week and the football world has been paying their respects.

The former Rangers player done great work for charity and set up a foundation after his diagnosis back in 2013.

Many Celtic fans have already made the trip to Ibrox to pay their respects and the kind messages are still coming which speak of Fernando’s bravery until the very end.

It was absolutely correct the club went to Ibrox in an official capacity and the Celtic manager and Chief executive did just that.

There will be a minute applause at Celtic’s game against Kilmarnock on Sunday as a mark of respect which both sets of fans will take part.
