Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley has added to the Hoops’ lead, putting Brendan Rodgers’ side 4-0 up against Kilmarnock on a special night for the club.
O’Riley’s strike in the 50th minute sums up his season; he has been a class above, with a thunderous strike leaving Kieran O’Hara no chance in the Kilmarnock goal.
Beating the Irish goalkeeper with a special strike at his near post.
O’Riley has been Celtic’s best player this season, in a real breakout season for the Danish playmaker.
This was reflected in the Celtic Player of the Year awards on Sunday night, where O’Riley won Men’s Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Men’s Players’ Player of the Year.

At times a bit-part player last season, O’Riley has simply added goals to his game consistently, an aspect which was sometimes criticised.
He now looks to be the complete midfielder, a player that many clubs across Europe are in desperate need of.
