Watch: Greg Taylor Walks Away From Interview To Savour Special Celtic Scenes

Celtic secured their 118th major honour this afternoon in the Hampden sunshine, a late Adam Idah strike proving enough to help the Hoops to victory against bitter rivals Rangers.

The showpiece final was a cagey affair but in the end, the Bhoys showed their elite winning mentality to come away victorious.

After the cup was lifted and before the players commenced a traditional lap of honour, the Celtic fans gave a spine-tingling rendition of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.

The post-match scenes were iconic as the players stood on the halfway line, savouring a moment which will live with them for the rest of their lives.

Left-back Greg Taylor, however, could have easily missed out on the festivities. He was being interviewed as the singing was happening but hilariously, he asked to walk away from it to take in the iconic scenes:

A wise decision from the 26-year-old, Taylor gave his all in the final and deserved the opportunity to celebrate with his teammates and the Celtic fans post-match.
