Celtic left back Greg Taylor took part in Sky Sports’ crossbar challenge on Monday afternoon. One player from each Premiership side have completed it in pre-season with the Scotland international the next in line.
Dan Phillips of St. Johnstone’s five was the score to beat. Taylor came close to doing so and got off to the perfect start, hitting the bar with his first try. He then missed a fair few before ensuring his last three shots were accurate. The challenge can be viewed below:

The 25-year-old completed the challenge in just 23 seconds which was rather impressive. He had one of the the best time-to-accuracy rates for the game in the whole of the league. Add the fact he is a defender and most others who competed were midfielders or attackers and we can see how fine Taylor is on the ball.

For the former Killie full back, 2023/24 is set to be an intriguing season. He was the foremost left back at Celtic under Ange Postecoglou but times are changing. Taylor has a whole new gaffer to prove himself to but he will believe in himself that he can do so and sweep aside any competition from Alexandro Bernabei.
