Watch: Full Time Scenes As Celtic Silence A Raging Ibrox

Celtic were fully deserved 1-0 winners in Sunday’s Glasgow Derby. Japanese striker Kyogo proved to be the difference maker for the Bhoys with a goal that was worthy of winning any match.

Kyogo scored right on half-time and in the second 45, the Hoops defended professionally. When the full-time whistle went, there were jubilant scenes in the Parkhead dugout but it is fair to say the home fans were livid, as could be heard:

The hosts were vastly disappointing in their display and their supporters booed them off the park. As the Gers’ players walked around at the end, supporters swore at them, gave them the finger, and waved at them to leave the pitch.

In the Celtic camp, though, there were fantastic scenes. When the champions walked off the park, all of Brendan Rodgers’ backroom staff stood in a line and congratulated them all.

It was a memorable afternoon, with there being numerous top-class performances. Liam Scales, Matt O’Riley, Callum McGregor and Kyogo all stood up and were counted and helped their team move four points ahead of their city rivals.
