Ewen Cameron endured a rough afternoon in the radio studio as his pre-match bravado spectacularly backfired during Celtic’s comfortable 3-0 win over Hearts.

The radio presenter, proudly sporting his Hearts scarf ahead of kick-off, was full of confidence going into the clash at Celtic Park. “We won’t get beat today,” Cameron boldly claimed live on air, convinced the Jambos would take something from the match.
But within 45 minutes, Celtic had blown his prediction out the water. A ruthless first-half display saw Daizen Maeda net twice and Jota get in on the act, leaving Hearts stunned and Cameron noticeably quieter behind the mic.
As the third goal hit the net, Cameron briefly left his seat—clearly sensing what was about to come next from his co-host Steven Mill. And he wasn’t wrong.
Mill gleefully replayed Cameron’s earlier prediction on loop, much to the amusement of listeners. With the audio of his confident statement echoing in the background, Cameron could only hold his hands up and admit defeat.
“I’m rattled,” he confessed, as Mill continued to revel in the moment.
“I’m going to blow; I’m being serious. Remove that (audio clip). It’s doing my head in. I’m going to say something that will get us taken off air.”
