Rangers looked off the pace, struggled to create chances, and manager Russell Martin was visibly unhappy. Post-match, he didn’t hold back — already calling out his players’ lack of sharpness and hunger. It was the kind of start that raised eyebrows, especially after a summer of talk and optimism from the blue half of Glasgow.

Delivering in his usual deadpan fashion, Sutton calmly dropped a one-liner that summed it all up. With Boyd sitting beside him, visibly seething, Sutton quipped: “They have a lot of work to do — and Kris has tipped them for the title as well.”
The camera lingered just long enough to catch Boyd’s reaction: a wince, a shake of the head, and a barely concealed grimace. It was classic Sutton — ice-cold delivery, maximum impact.
