Celtic loan bhoy Paolo Bernardo has got on the scoresheet for the Portugal under 21s on Friday evening as they dismantled Belarus 6-1 on the night.
The Celtic midfielder is still trying to find his feet in Glasgow, but he’s getting vital minutes this international break that will see him return to Celtic Park more sharp and able to make a bigger impact.

Bernardo was signed on loan from Benfica during the summer transfer window and if Celtic like what they see, they have an option to buy the Portuguese youngster, much like they did with Jota.

Celtic and Brendan Rodgers will need contributions from the whole squad as the season goes on. The Hoops have a lot of games between now and the end of the season. There’s no doubt Paolo will get his chance, it’s about taking the opportunity when it comes.
The player is in a very competitive part of the pitch where players such as Reo Hatate, Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley all occupy.
