ROCCO VATA AND BEN SUMMERS both got onto the pitch at Rugby Park on Sunday afternoon as the bhoys made light work of Kilmarnock.
Both bhoys were named on the bench and got on during the second half. Rocco has already made his debut for the club, but it was Ben Summers first runout for the first team.
Another great milestone for both young players who have come through the academy.
Ange Postecoglou rewarding hard work and talent.
Celtic celebrated the duo getting game time under the Australian on Monday afternoon when they shared brilliant pictures of both young lads when they initially signed for the academy.
How it starts vs How it’s going.

Both bhoys have come through the academy together and would have been on cloud nine to get onto the field at the same time.
Ange is making a concerted effort to celebrate and develop the very best in our academy so the lads coming through know there’s a route to the first team if they’re good enough.

The Celtic academy has been a shambles for years when it comes to bringing players through consistently. Many young players have left to the likes of Bayern, Liverpool and Man City.
While those teams come calling might render the same result with a well oiled academy path, it was so easy for bhoys like Ben Doak and Liam Morrison to move on.
We can’t wait to see these lads develop.
